Status: Full-time, permanent
Reports to: Legal Support Manager
Salary: $45,000-$55,000 depending on experience

Job Summary
Reporting to the Legal Support Manager, the Legal Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing legal support as well as supporting the maintenance of an organized office environment. The successful candidate will be a key player in client service delivery.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Legal Support
- Provide support to the Legal Assistant team;
- Close files, and arrange for archiving where appropriate;
- DEocument scanning;
- Electronic and paper filing;
- Support case preparation by assembling materials required during hearings;
- Input and validate Lawyers’ time dockets;
- Create documentation and organize legal templates for use by legal staff;
- Other miscellaneous legal support duties as required.
General Administration
- Monitor and action general email boxes and faxes;
- Answer and direct phone calls;
- Arrange for courier shipments;
- Other miscellaneous administrative duties as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to produce a high volume of high-quality work under tight deadlines while managing competing priorities.
- Ability to provide an excellent customer service.
- Proficiency in MS Office & Adobe Pro, as well as the ability to learn new technologies as necessary.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
