Alanna Twohey is Legal Counsel for the Firm. She joined Emond Harnden as a Research Lawyer in 2016. Prior to joining the Firm, Alanna practiced exclusively management-side labour and employment law in another Ottawa boutique firm for seven years.
Alanna advises employers in both the public and private sectors in all areas of workplace law. Her services include the preparation and administration of employment agreements, drafting and review of workplace policies, legal advice regarding employment and labour law matters, guidance with respect to workplace investigations, preparation for arbitration, and collective bargaining. Alanna employs a strategic approach to help clients find cost-effective and practical solutions to workplace challenges.
Alanna has also worked as a professor of employment law, which reflects her educative and practical focus when guiding clients.
