Marie-Ève Caissy joined Emond Harnden as an associate in 2025. Prior to joining, Marie-Ève practiced for six years in the advocacy department of a full-service national law firm with a focus on medical defence and health law.
Marie-Ève brings an expertise in litigation and has considerable background with healthcare matters, including hospital workplace investigations and disciplinary matters, human rights proceedings, and privacy matters. Marie-Ève has acted as counsel in complex litigation matters before the Superior Court of Justice, and has appeared before several administrative tribunals, including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.
Fully bilingual, Marie-Ève practices in all areas of labour and employment law, and provides support to a variety of clients in both the public and private sectors, with a focus on health care and advocacy for employers, including litigation, negotiation and mediation.
