COVID-19 UPDATES

  • Emond Harnden writes letter to federal government: temporary layoffs – Read letter
In our view, and given the unprecedented crisis facing the country’s workplaces and economy, the Federal Government ought to act to temporarily lengthen or suspend the three-month layoff window and the requirements to qualify for a temporary layoff of a longer period under the Canada Labour Code and its regulations.
