Arielle Girard

Arielle joined Emond Harnden in 2025 after completing her articles with a national full-service firm in Ottawa.

During law school, Arielle worked as a Research Assistant at the Supreme Court of Canada and with the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law, where she contributed to research on children’s rights within a human rights context. She also served as a Student Caseworker at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic, providing legal education and outreach to community organizations and educational institutions.

Fully bilingual, Arielle works mostly with clients in the education sector. Her practice focuses on education law by providing strategic advice and representing school boards in a variety of labour and employment matters.

In her free time, Arielle enjoys cooking, reading, staying active, and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Arielle graduated Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa French Common Law program in 2024. Arielle also has an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences specialized in International Development and Globalization from the University of Ottawa.

Arielle was called to the Ontario Bar in 2025.

Arielle is a member of the County of Carleton Law Association, the Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario and Canadian Bar Association.
