Kecia is a practical and skilled negotiator with experience in a variety of unionized and non-unionized workplaces. Kecia is passionate about providing guidance and advice to her clients in their day-to-day human resources matters, including statutory compliance, development and review of employment agreements and policies, attendance management, benefits, and on matters that may lead to discipline or dismissal. She frequently appears before labour arbitrators and other labour/employment tribunals on behalf of her clients.
Kecia is an experienced and dynamic presenter who is regularly called upon to chair and speak at conferences and seminars on a diverse range of labour, employment and human rights matters, including respect in the workplace, accommodation, collective bargaining and managing in a unionized workplace.
