    Helicopter pilot fined $1,000 for negligence and “likely to endanger the life or property of any person” for sliding helicopter between skaters – Decision confirmed on Appeal – Application for Judicial Review dismissed with costs – Appeal Panel was reasonable to have found SFO Certificate would have been reasonable additional step which Applicant failed to take before performing stunt
  • Judicial Review – Security Clearance – Ramos v. Canada (Attorney General), 2018 FC 696
    Cleaner at airport denied renewal of security clearance due to sexual assault charges – Applicant did not provide further information on charges when prompted, nor did any evidence or submissions produced at hearing demonstrated Decision to refuse to reconsider was unreasonable – Dismissed
  • Appeal – Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) – Decision No. 940/18, 2018 ONWSIAT 1332
    Airplane cleaner denied NIHL entitlement – Employee did not meet the criterion of OPM Document 16-01-04 to establish NIHL claim – Appeal denied
