For more than 35 years, Emond Harnden has been at the forefront of labour and employment law, proudly serving employers across Canada. Our Founders
Emond Harnden was founded in 1987 by Jacques “Jake” Emond and Lynn Harnden. What began as a small team of two founding partners and a couple of associates has grown into a thriving firm with over 55 lawyers and 35 support staff, a testament to Jake and Lynn’s enduring commitment to excellence and their belief in building meaningful relationships with clients, staff, and the community.

Our in-house Research Department is a cornerstone of our client partnership model. Led by our Director of Research, the department centralizes firm-wide research, allowing new requests to benefit from prior work.
