Heba Eid

Associate

Heba joined Emond Harnden as an Associate in 2023. She previously worked at the federal government for two years, practicing constitutional and administrative law. She then completed her articles with a full-service law firm in Ottawa focusing on criminal defence and civil litigation.

Heba advises provincially and federally regulated employers in all areas of labour and employment law in the public and private sectors. Her practice is dedicated to offering high-quality legal services in both official languages.

In her spare time, Heba enjoys reading, Zumba, and traveling.

Heba received her Licence in Civil Law from the University of Ottawa, where she simultaneously completed an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences specializing in International Development and Globalization. Heba graduated from the program Magna Cum Laude.

Heba also completed the Juris Doctor National Program at the University of Ottawa, where she received the Right Honourable Brian Dickson Prize for the highest academic standing in the program, the Osgoode Society Prize for Canadian Legal History, awarded to the top 10 students in the graduating class, and the Colonel Michel W. Drapeau Prize, awarded for high academic achievement and a demonstration of leadership qualities.

Heba was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023.

Heba is a member of the Ottawa Advocacy Club.
