Kyle joined Emond Harnden in 2018, after practicing exclusively in the area of employment law at another law firm in Ottawa.

Kyle has successfully advocated for clients in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice, and at the tribunal level. His practice includes all areas of labour and employment law with a specific emphasis on advocacy and litigation in the areas of wrongful dismissal, human rights, employment standards compliance, and mediation and arbitration. In addition, Kyle is also experienced in the preparation and analysis of employment contracts and other human resources materials to help ensure that employers are well protected in their operations.

Kyle advises employers across Ontario who appreciate his straight forward, down-to-earth approach in providing strategic advice towards resolving their human resources concerns.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Kyle is committed to the local community. When he is not in the office, he is an avid hockey and baseball fan, cheering for the Ottawa Senators and the New York Mets.

 

Kyle received his Juris Doctor (Law) degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 2014.

Prior to attending Queen’s University, Kyle studied philosophy at the University of Ottawa.

Kyle is a member of the County of Carleton Law Association.
