Marie joined Emond Harnden as an Associate in 2022 after completing her articles with the firm. Perfectly bilingual, Marie practices in all areas of labour and employment law, including privacy, human rights, and employment standards.
Marie has experience assisting a diverse range of employers, both federally and provincially regulated. She has been involved in collective bargaining, drafting workplace policies, and preparation for human rights matters and arbitration hearings.
Marie graduated from the University of Ottawa’s English Common Law Program in 2021. Prior to law school, she completed an Honours BA with a Double Major in Communications and Music, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She received numerous awards for her academic excellence and was a member of the Dean’s Honour List throughout her undergraduate studies.
Marie is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association and the County of Carleton Law Association.
