Marie-Pier joined Emond Harnden as an associate in 2025. Prior to joining, Marie-Pier practiced for five years in a civil litigation boutique, and three years in a boutique specializing in labour and employment law. Marie-Pier brings an expertise in litigation and in administrative law.

Fully bilingual, Marie-Pier works mostly with clients in the education sector. She focuses on education law and constitutional law in the education sector by providing strategic advice and working with clients to find creative solutions to workplace issues. She further represents clients before Courts and various administrative tribunals, including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.

Outside of the office, Marie-Pier enjoys being involved in her community. She coaches the University of Ottawa Common law section Laskin moot court competition and sits on the board of her local swimming club. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, reading, playing with her dog, and spending time with her family.

Marie-Pier graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa French Common Law Program in 2015. She also holds a BA in international law and international relations from the Université du Québec à Montréal.

During law school, Marie-Pier on the Dean’s Honour List for academic excellence for all three years, as well as receiving several prizes for highest grades. Marie-Pier also distinguished herself by winning, with her team, the first place in the Charles Rousseau moot in public international law, as well as being recognized as the best oral advocate of the moot. She further obtained the third best oral advocate prize in the Laskin Moot in administrative and constitutional law.

Marie-Pier was called to the Ontario Bar in 2016.

Marie-Pier is a member of the Association des jurists d’expression française de l’Ontario and of the County of Carleton Law Association.
