    Airplane manufacture and restoration business – part painters assigned new work reserved for quality inspectors – testing adhesion of paint and measuring thickness of paint – training for new role required one hour – further change of inspectors’ duties to “batch lot” sampling, but these not in dispute – grievance denied – management entitled to define or alter degree of scrutiny its employees make regarding products – work was not removed from employees
  • Termination of contract – Tran v Premiere Airport Facilities Inc – 2019 ABPC 197
    Tran invested $40 000 in proposed air charter business – further claimed unjust enrichment (additional monies made when Tran’s money was held in trust) – other partner failed to fulfill terms of contract by investing equal amount – Tran found contract repudiated by partner’s actions – requested investment returned – alleged unjust enrichment – contract was repudiated – unjust enrichment existed – partner diverted business funds to personal purposes — $37 582.23 must be returned
