Jennifer began her career in the education sector and specialized in workers’ compensation. Prior to joining Emond Harnden, she practised entirely in management-side workplace law.
She works primarily with public and para-public sector employers in both official languages, with a focus on provincially regulated industries in the areas of employment and labour law, human rights, workers’ compensation, health and safety and education law. She provides employers with proactive strategies and best practices to reduce their overall costs. Drafting workplace policies as well as delivering advice and guidance on implementing disability management programs are also part of Jennifer’s experience. In addition to giving management training on a variety of workers’ compensation issues, she regularly represents clients’ interests in front of the WSIB and the WSIAT.
In her free time, Jennifer embraces the outdoors as well as yoga and Pilates.
