Emond Harnden Announces Lauren Jamieson as Partner

Emond Harnden is thrilled to announce that Lauren Jamieson has become a Partner at the firm, effective January 1, 2025. With a remarkable track record and a dedication to delivering effective solutions, Lauren has quickly established herself as a leader in labour and employment law, privacy law, and particularly within the aviation sector.

Lauren has spent nearly a decade honing her expertise, making her an integral member of Emond Harnden and its Aviation Practice Group. She represents over 40 aviation clients nationwide, including fixed- and rotary-wing operators, airports, and a wide range of industry organizations.

While Lauren’s contributions to the aviation sector are significant, her practice also spans a diverse range of private and public sector employers. She focuses on advising federally regulated industries, offering practical guidance on day-to-day human resources and labour relations issues. Her innovative approach consistently provides clients with tailored solutions to complex challenges.

A Career of Excellence

Lauren Jamieson

Lauren’s journey with Emond Harnden began as a summer student in May 2015. Following her graduation from the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law in 2017—where she earned her degree cum laude and completed an Option in Dispute Resolution and Professionalism—she joined the firm as an articling student. By 2018, she became an associate, and now, as a Partner, Lauren continues to make her mark. Lauren is also a member of the Bar in Ontario, Alberta, and the Northwest Territories.

Her dedication and achievements have not gone unnoticed. In 2024, Lauren was nominated for Wings magazine’s prestigious 20 Under 40 list, recognizing her exceptional contributions to the aviation sector.

As a Partner, Lauren will continue to support her clients with the same diligence and expertise that have defined her career thus far. Her leadership within Emond Harnden and her commitment to excellence ensure she is well-positioned to drive meaningful impact for her clients and the firm.

Please join us in congratulating Lauren Jamieson on this well-deserved milestone. We look forward to seeing her continued success and contributions as a Partner at Emond Harnden.
