Emond Harnden Announces Marianne Abou-Hamad as Partner

Emond Harnden is pleased to announce that Marianne Abou-Hamad has been named a Partner of the firm, effective January 1, 2026.

Marianne first joined Emond Harnden as a summer student in 2017 and completed her articles with the firm. She is a trusted advisor to clients and a mentor to junior lawyers, recognized for her strategic thinking, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.

Marianne practices across all areas of labour and employment law and provides support to clients in both the public and private sectors, including federally and provincially regulated employers. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa’s English Common Law Program in 2018 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019.

As a Partner, Marianne will build on her deep experience in labour and employment law to provide innovative solutions tailored to each client’s needs. Her expertise and leadership will help shape the firm’s success and support the achievements of those around her.
